This Privacy Policy governs the Inspector Pool mobile application (hereinafter "Application"), developed by Digitals You Might Like (hereinafter "Service Provider").

Data Collection and Usage

The Application stores data locally on your device. The following information may be collected and stored locally when you enter it:

  • Inspector Record: Company name, pool inspector name (Required), company address, company email (Required), company phone, company disclaimer, and company logo.
  • Client Record: Client name (Required), client contact, client address, client phone, client email (Required), and any additional notes you provide.
  • Inspection Record: Homeowner name, homeowner address, date and time of inspection (Required), client (Required), inspector (Required), and any details selected or entered during the Inspection Checklist.
  • Custom Inspection Checklist: Category and question Meta Data from any custom checklist you import or modify.
  • Photos and Images: Company logos, pool photos, and checklist item photos that you capture or select during inspections. These images are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.
  • Generated Reports: PDF inspection reports created by the Application, stored locally on your device.

Authentication Data: When you choose to sign in with Google, Inspector Pool uses Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to verify your identity. This process may include receiving your Google email address and basic profile information. We use this information for identity entitlement linking with RevenueCat. We do not store your Google account email in the Application's inspection database (the local records described above). While you remain signed in, Firebase Authentication maintains your authentication session on your device according to Google's standard practices.

Subscription Data: Subscription status and entitlements are managed through RevenueCat.

Sign out: User can sign out at any time from the Settings screen.

Internet and Sharing

The core functionality of the Application operates offline. Internet access is used when you sign in with Google, purchase a subscription, verify subscription entitlements, restore purchases, manage your subscription, or share a generated report via your device's email client.

Third-Party Services

  • Firebase (Google): Used for authentication and identity management.
  • Google Sign-In: Used to allow secure sign-in with your Google account.
  • RevenueCat: Used to manage subscriptions and entitlements across devices.

These services process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Application.
