What is Inspector Pool?
Inspector Pool is a mobile application designed for pool inspectors to streamline the inspection process. It automatically generates professional inspection reports, allowing inspectors to focus on their work rather than report formatting.
Can I customize the inspection report layout?
Inspector Pool generates a fixed PDF report layout that cannot be customized within the app. You can, however, edit the PDF using external editors like Microsoft Word or LibreOffice Writer that support PDF modification.
Can I create my own inspection checklist?
Yes, you can create a custom inspection checklist via the settings screen using two methods. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions:
- Copy the in-app Inspection List and edit your copy.
- Import your own checklist using a .csv formatted file.
Can I back up my data?
Inspector Pool does not currently offer a built-in backup feature. You can forward reports to any email address for safekeeping, but data such as Inspectors, Clients, Inspections, or Custom Inspection Checklists cannot be backed up.
How is my data handled by Inspector Pool?
Your data remains on your device and is not accessed by the app's creator or any third parties. This is by design to ensure your privacy. Only inspection reports can be shared by you, if desired.
Will I lose my data if I uninstall the app?
Yes, all data entered is stored locally within the app. Uninstalling the app will delete this data. To preserve reports, email them to yourself before uninstalling. Other data cannot be backed up.
